Delta Sigma Theta Inc. Suburban Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter to co-sponsor the 4th annual Empower U: Health, Wellness and Economic Empowerment Fair in conjunction with the Houston Urban League Guild.
The Wellness Fair will be held Saturday April 2nd at Briargate Elementary, 15817 Blue Ridge Road in Missouri City. The fair will take place from 10am-2pm and will include activities such as free health screenings, financial workshops, entertainment, give-aways and face painting.
Empower U: Health and Wellness Fair was established four years ago to provide the community with resources that will improve and enhance the quality of life. This year an economic focus was added to provide families with resources to ease the financial stresses that also has impact on health. The fair engages the entire family to stay proactive in their overall physical and financial health.
