April 6, 2013

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Rio Vista Water Park

555 Cheatham

San Marcos , TX 78666

Join us for the Texas Hill Country's largest Paddling Festival,

Springs Fest 2013

on the beautiful San Marcos river!

There will be kayak & SUP demos from 9:00 to noon. In fact we are introducing the incredible new Jackson whitewater SUP at this festival. Bring your old gear, used gear and never used gear for the Gear SWAP. Join us for one of the ACA certified kayaking classes and get your paddle on. We'll be teaching Stroke Efficiency, Rolling and Bracing, plus kayak Surfing!

Or, try your hand at some SUP Yoga, paddle in our Kayak Diva class or introduce your kids to kayaking in our Kids and Kayaks class. If you want to stay dry or just hangout on shore check out one of free clinics. We will be presenting: Where to Kayak in Texas, The Gear Necessities of Life & Kayak Trips & Travel. Bring your lawn chair or plan on competing in one of our afternoon competitions. Starting with Boater X, then SUP surfing and finally Freestyle, you'll be cheering everyone on!

We will finish the day with awards and prize giveaways.

The river is 72 degrees so it is always nice - warm in the winter and cool in the summer!
