Beltway 8 West TOTAL CLOSURE Southbound

(Houston) -This weekend, June 22-24, 2007, the Beltway 8-West southbound mainlanes will be closed continuously at I-10/Katy Freeway beginning 10 PM, Friday, June 22 until 5 AM, Monday, June 25, as the Texas Department of Transportation's contractor continues reconstruction activities in the area of the

I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange. Traffic will be detoured to exit at Westview to the Beltway 8-West southbound frontage road. Additional closures taking place in this area include:

. Total closure of the Beltway 8-West northbound mainlanes at the I-10/Katy Freeway nightly from

10 PM to 5 AM beginning Friday, June 22 until Sunday, June 24. Traffic will be detoured to exit at

Memorial to the Beltway 8-West northbound frontage road.

. Total closure of the I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound direct connector to Beltway 8-West northbound nightly from 10 PM to 5 AM beginning Friday, June 22 until Sunday, June 24. Northbound traffic should take the I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound Beltway 8 frontage road exit to access Beltway 8-West northbound via the I-10 eastbound frontage road.
