I-10 closed Labor Day Weekend

"I-10 Westbound Mainlanes Scheduled To Close at I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange"

(Houston) The I-10/Katy Freeway westbound mainlanes between Gessner and Wilcrest will close again this weekend beginning 5 AM, Saturday, September 1 until 5 AM, Monday, September 3. At the same time, the I-10 westbound direct connector ramps to northbound and southbound Beltway 8 and the Beltway 8 northbound and southbound frontage roads at I-10 will also be closed. The closures are required for the placing of beams for the new Beltway 8 southbound direct connector ramp to I-10 eastbound currently under construction. Detour information is available using the link http://www.katyfreeway.org/Beltway8/Weekly_Forecast.html. Motorists are reminded to plan ahead when traveling in the area.
