Lunch in Park

Lunch in Park

January 12, 2020 – 1 pm - 2:00 pm

Lake Houston Wilderness Park

25840 FM 1485, New Caney, TX 77357

After the hike, let’s enjoy lunch in the park!  It’s a great way to unwind after the hike, relax in nature and meet more people who might not have been hiking next to you.

What to bring:

·        Lunch or snacks to share

·        Camping chair

·        Sun protection

·        An extra layer as you cool off after the hike

·        Extra water or drink of choice with lunch (no glass, no styrofoam)

Fees:

This is a free Event to attend but there is a $3 entrance fee per person. This is not a TX State Park so your park pass will not work.  The entrance fee is paid at the park when you arrive.

Plan some extra time so fully submerges yourself with nature. Check out the nature center and after lunch, take a short stroll to the creek or around the pond.

RSVP at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lunch-in-park-tickets-86892492785  For additional info e-mail to [email protected]

Never been before??

No worries! More than half of the people going have never been before and many people show up by themselves. So when you show up, if everyone looks like they have known each other for years.... Don’t worry. They likely just met. Look for the event leader and then they know it’s your first time and we’ll make sure to take care of you! :D
