HNathoo
This is not the eado city view project from Dan Nip (RIP). That site has already been acquired by TXDOT for the freeway expansion.

j_cuevas713
For a moment there I was a little worried those lofts wouldn’t last. So glad to see phase II start. Will the new flood management canal have any affect on this or is this too far east? Edited September 13, 2020 by j_cuevas713

The new project is just south of the phase 1 City View renovation. Edited February 11, 2022 by hindesky
KinkaidAlum
I'm so glad this building is being repurposed but holy moly, they need a designer. Just checked out the website and the renderings/photos look so dated. It's mid 1990s in there.
hindesky
Does anyone know if Mission Constructors is the GC for this project, they have what I assume is a lay down yard on the next block.

No, they are not the GC. Mission is building a small micro-brewery there (100 S. Jackson I think?). I will get more information on the building this afternoon.

But I will say they def have a nice resume of historic preservation. I didn't know they were part of the Plaza Hotel renovation. I love that building. hindesky
Brand new graffiti on the old Lola Savanah building next door. Someone is doing a lot of interior work on that building also.

hindesky
Most times when I go by here I see zero progress, this time they have the piping laid in the ground and are pouring concrete for the slab.
jmitch94
Why does it seem like downtown has so many mid rise projects that take an eternity to build. The other two currently being build are just dragging on and on and this isn’t the first time either.
