hindesky
When I looked up the "Altura Residences" it seems they develop and operate the Altura properties. https://dmacompanies.com/communities/altura-heights/
hindesky
The vacant Hilton Houston Galleria is set to be repurposed into a multi-family complex by a Los Angeles developer. The 13-story hotel has been empty since its lender foreclosed on the property in 2022. The building's new owner, Bryan Kang, plans to convert it into a multi-family complex. Dos Lagos Asset, owned by Kang, will renovate the 292-room hotel located at 6780 Southwest Freeway, near Interstate 69. The project's estimated cost is $40 million, and construction is set to begin in April. The anticipated completion date is September 2025, as Brandon Sams of The Real Deal reported. Kang was previously Commissioner of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation from 2012-2014. He was also the CEO of Rhapsody Clothing, a wholesale merchandiser that closed in 2019. Kang was previously Commissioner of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation from 2012-2014. He was also the CEO of Rhapsody Clothing, a wholesale merchandiser that closed in 2019. The 192,181-square-foot building was originally constructed in 1978 and remodeled in 2017. Its conversion is part of a bigger trend across Houston to retrofit old commercial buildings into residential sites. Due to remote work and downsizing, Houston's office vacancy rate is over 25%. https://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/hilton-houston-galleria-18662737.php 3
