Those vehicles in pic 1 belong to a guy who has done work for Randall Davis, he cuts down the trees and sell the ones that are worth using for firewood or for BBQ. He said he brought with him some guys that will bid on the demo portion. Lots of new surveyor stakes through out the property.

What am interesting looking property.

I'm going to have to look up the story behind it

It is the old model showroom for the cancelled "Orion" condo project that was supposed to be built next door. The model showroom was then actually used as a home up until 2020ish. The parking lot was built to accommodate the showroom traffic way back in the day and when the project went bust, the parking lot was used for Brenners.

Did that building flood (during Harvey)? It seems like it really wasn't built up.

From what I can remember, it did not. Water did get pretty close.

The old Orion sales center has been demolished and was being trucked out. I talked with the GF from GT Leach who said they will be starting in about 1 week after the trees are removed. He said they had to bring a city arborists to see which trees they can cut down and how many they will have to replace when finished, the trees had badges with flagging on them. He said it will have a tower crane if the concrete contractor needs it to build the parking garage. He wasn't sure yet if it will be a cast in place or precast or who is doing the job.
