  1. Since nobody has posted anything for a few hours, let's do an easy one: In which subdivision is the Beer Can House located?
  2. I exit on the second ramp (the direct ramp not the fly-over). I am truly honing my aggressive driving skills as I merge across the 3 lanes of solid traffic to make my right on Woodway.
  3. I suppose it does a bit. However, Joel prefers you stand around in a former basketball arena, not sit around the table.
  4. Oh so much, PuroAztlan! Here's one to decipher... What book, locally published in 1996, claims that it "encourages you to discover the everyday pleasure of sitting around the table with those you love, experiencing the joy of remembrance and the promise of renewal."
  5. If here: http://www.buffalobayou.org/canoekayaktrips.html
  6. Railroad cossings! Makes sense. It's why I always take Yale on my way to church.
  7. Good one! Alright. Who is the grandson of the General Manager and Treasurer of the Omaha and South Texas Land Company?
  8. Is this the hangin' tree by Bayou Place?
  9. Goooooooooaaaaaaaaaalllllllll! As an aside, it had only been open for about 13 months before TSA. Alright, what trivia do you have for us?
  10. Good guess, but no. It probably got the most attention (partially because of that poor paralegal in the elevator). This organization also lost use of another building for two months.
  11. What Downtown building remained out of operation for 11 months after being disrupted by TS Allison?
  12. Ugh! First TXU, now Russo's? Actually, the whole coal-fired pie is great. Mrs. Porchman and I went through some of the grandfathered joints in Greenwich Village last October. We may make the trip when it opens.
  13. Easy one: What two Rice professors won the Nobel prize for "buckyballs"?
  14. You mean the one at 11682 Arrowwood Circle listed at $16,500,000? (Originally listed at over $19 million)
  15. That corporate HQ is the tallest building in Houston, by the way.
  16. Sevfiv has a clue. He collaborated with 3D on the corporate headquarters for the same entity. It's located a few blocks away. Think really famous.
  17. Gulf Freeway Read this.. http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/JFKjonesJ.htm Here's mine... Who designed this?
