  1. Everyone wear T-shirts that say "I'm from the Internet."
  2. Hm, almost. Maybe merging the parking lots or building a second building? http://www.iachouston.org/location Berry is one block away.
  3. There's a sign up on Berry next to Natachee's that said an application has been received to abandon it. Anyone know what's going on here?
  4. Don't know, but I'm glad they did. It makes a nice bike path.
  5. Most people eat every day, even when they're not eating at McDonald's.
  6. Well, clinics generally keep daytime hours and bars generally keep evening hours, so it works out pretty good.
  7. Germantown Historic District designation just passed Council 11-5.
  8. I kinda wish it would go. I don't stop in at a Hard Rock even when I'm traveling.
  9. Only trouble with Sundance is sometimes the selection is too niche. I love a good art film or documentary, but sometimes I just want to see a blockbuster. They've been better lately, but when they first opened they only had 1 or 2 at a time.
  10. I saw a bunch of suits monitoring the progress this morning.
  11. Illegal or unethical tactics? Maybe they wouldn't give him a raise he felt he deserved? It's a mystery.
  12. Don't forget to paste the best part. Could be his Twitter account that ended his run.
  13. The "way to go"? Like, they don't believe heterosexuality exists? I'm confused. To the OP, don't worry about any characterizations of what type of people are 'normally' gay. There are all types of gays, and being gay doesn't mean you should feel compelled to act any certain way.
  14. Refuting you isn't the same thing as attacking you. I didn't attack you. Sidewalks, maybe utility realignments. Not sure what the restrictions are on what Harris County and the cities can spend it on.
  15. No rail was coming in the near future in either case. If Disagree won, A) there's still not enough money to build a rail line in near term and B ) There would be a protracted fight in the legislature over Metro's funding against Harris County, etc.
  16. I believe they have to submit the paperwork within 30 days. Missing that deadline is how the red light camera ballot initiative got undone.
  17. No, because I read the question and found it perfectly straightforward. It specifically describes that an Agree vote means continued dedication of Metro taxes to road work.
  18. But it doesn't. METRO can still use funds in its existing budget to build rail, and money is fungible. Furthermore, we're just a federal grant away from continuing at any time.
