    Had a good conversation with the security guard next door. He didn’t think a tower would be built here. Said the city would need to control the flooding first. Took photos but they’re not the best

    Finally activity on this land! Can anyone make out the size of the project by this hole? Surely it will be a tower right? Can't see 2-story retail go up on the side of the West Loop. For clarification, this isn't Gables Westcreek right?

    Different site, I think. This is the former Joe's Golf House site at 2121 West Loop South. The Gables is actually on Westcreek, no?

    Anybody else notice the vandalism at the site? The front entrance window was broken. There is broken glass, that hasn't been picked up in 2 weeks. Could be theft as well.

    Shame none of these worked out. There was some type of Gensler study about revitalizing GWP a few years ago. Haven't heard anything since.
