Alexan Southside Place: Multifamily At 4139 Bellaire Blvd.
Highrise Tower replied to texas911's topic in Houston Enclaves
The Bellaire Building signage is still up, months after residents have moved in. Do they not own the land or sign? Would have thought it would have been removed last year. Looks like it's on the bowling alley property? Which the tenant was locked out of. The storage building next door to this isn't bad looking. Will try to get photos later this week. Not apart of the thread but nothing was created for the project.- 61 replies

Stream and AMD Global Break Ground on Medical Office Building in Houston, TX https://streamrealty.com/stream-amd-global-break-ground-on-medical-office-building/ Stream Realty Partners (Stream) and AMD Global recently celebrated the official groundbreaking of Hedwig Place, a 102,474 square-foot, five-story, Class A medical office building located in Hedwig Village, an affluent, independent municipality on Houston’s booming west side. Stream Vice President Richard Barbles said, “The demand for quality healthcare space in this corridor was and is undeniable. We sought to capture that demand by collaborating with local community physicians to develop Hedwig Place.” Situated on two acres, Hedwig Place is at the heart of the Memorial Villages, three miles from Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and within minutes of Houston’s popular Uptown District. Stream Realty Partners’ Houston team broke ground on the development 65 percent preleased with anchor tenants Memorial Plastic Surgery and Texas Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists, occupying approximately 45,000 square feet combined. “We are very excited to announce our expansion into a new office at Hedwig Place. This larger space allows us to continue providing exceptional care to our patients in a comfortable and safe environment,” said Dr. Patrick W. Hsu, Founder of Memorial Plastic Surgery. “Our new facility is customized to accommodate our patient’s needs inside a beautifully designed, state-of-the art clinic and surgery space, which will allow us to deliver concierge service in the privacy of our own environment.” Hedwig Place is located on the I-10 feeder road and boasts convenient freeway access. The site also provides ingress/egress from well-known community roads Gaylord Drive and Old Voss Road. Parking is available at a comfortable 4/1,000 square foot plus ratio.

Having a sit down bar is good for grocery stores. Noticed Whole Foods Kirby had a bar. Definitely a grocery perk these days. Someplace to go, sit down, and relax. The new Bellaire HEB Market has a few beer taps but it's not situated as a bar. You can't sit down and watch sporting games

Slightly getting off topic but HEB sure is building a lot of new stores. Randall's and Krogers do not develop as fast. The HEB mixed use on Kirby will help the foot traffic of the nearby Buffalo Speedway store.
