610 West Loop Express Lanes
Highrise Tower replied to BayouCityMan's topic in Traffic and Transportation
Be prepared: Total closure on West Loop at Woodway this weekend HOUSTON - There will be a total closure on the West Loop this weekend. All southbound lanes from the Woodway exit to the entrance ramp just south of Woodway will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday through noon Saturday. The left two lanes will open at noon Saturday, and all lanes are expected to be open by midnight Saturday. Drivers can detour by taking I-10 eastbound to I-45 south to U.S. 59 southbound back to the 610 Loop. Local traffic can exit at Woodway. The closure will allow workers to re-stripe the lanes in preparation for construction on an elevated bus lane on the Loop. The re-striping will shift traffic to the left, utilizing the left shoulder as a lane. https://www.click2houston.com/news/be-prepared-total-closure-on-west-loop-at-woodway-this-weekend- 69 replies

BLVD Place Mixed-Use: 1700 Post Oak Blvd.
Highrise Tower replied to Subdude's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
I'll have to get used to Ed Wulfe not being involved. The empty BLVD Place lot has The Boulevard wrap a log the fence. This is relatively new? Windows going up -
Awesome location. Don't think there are medical towers in the vicinity? The design seems a bit bland to me. Great nonetheless!

Went to The Post Oak this afternoon. Valet only it seemed, so I went to WF Post Oak instead. Grabbed some crowlers of IPA to take over to a dinner party tonight. Liking that "curve" in the glass -
Wild to think another "world class" HEB will go up 2.4 miles away in Meyerland. Guess Meyerland deserves it. Seems like it is rebuilding as a whole new subdivision. As I like to say.. Meyerland is the new Bellaire

To be honest, I did not know Hines was a founding partner of DE Harvey. Mr. Hines is the man!
