610 West Loop Express Lanes
Highrise Tower replied to BayouCityMan's topic in Traffic and Transportation
I'm confused. There are two different 610 projects coming in 2018? The 610/59 Interchange is the same as the 610 Elevated Express Lanes? Should be the same project, right? The 610 elevated express lanes goes from the 59 Spur to I-10. That whole 4-mile stretch of 610. I might be making it more confusing.- 69 replies

Was riding in a car on the way to Spindletap Brewery for the Operation Juice Drop release party. "Little Dubai" with Amegy's new bldg The signage is so tiny! From the freeway, you cannot make it out. Guess residential towers don't put huge signage logos ala Amegy Bank.

Highrise Tower replied to Mab's topic in Katy and Points West
Was watching KPRC's aerial footage days after the so called "800 year flood" and caught Memorial Green on TV. Memorial Drive was flooded but the front of this development was all white and clean!- 49 replies

Got both signage before one of them disappeared! Re: Palace Bowling Lanes next door Per Swamplot? the tenant did not pay their rent so they were locked out of the property. Not very welcoming to have a junky, empty lot next door to Class-A apartments. of course litter is accumulating down the sidewalk from Alexan Southside Place- 61 replies

The truck receiving area is coming a long. I know it's way to early to mention this, but let's hope they have beer on tap! Maybe like a wall of 10/15 taps.. Most "flagship" HEB's these days have a tap wall.. I think. Edit: Would love to see the plans. The City of Bellaire has posted drawings via meeting notes, but they're probably not of the interior.

Was checking out at Central Market and noticed everybody outside was taking photos of the sky. I was like... what's going on! Turns out it was a double rainbow. Overheard somebody say that double rainbows are rare. To be honest, I don't think I've ever seen one? Caught 2929 Weslayan in the background The rainbow was very bright and color pronounced! It was amazingly strong.
