Guest danax
I have a 95 year old house and last year, as I was removing the window casings, I found old newspapers, stuffed inside the window weight pockets in an obvious attempt to stop the air infiltration, from late Jan 1949. Now I understand why.

H-Town Man
I have pictures of my mom playing in the 1960 snow, in the Heights. It looked pretty serious - cars covered and everything. When the '85 blizzard happened, a reporter from the now-defunct Ch. 10 videotaped me playing out on my street, and I ended up on the news. Still have it on tape! And yeah, there was at least a trace in 1994. Don't know how they missed that.

Guest danax
Hey danax, from the looks of your picture, you must've been around for that 1895 snow! Tell us how it was!hahahahahahaha!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yes, in 95', a few years before that photo, I was a young man of 28 (previous lifetime). It was a fine winter where I was, the oranges were heavy on the trees, however, I was living in sunny Southern CA at the time.
CincoRanch-HoustonResident
Out here, I see kids making snowballs, but not from the ground, scraped up from the sides and things of cars, I see them doing it now from my window. On the 11 News, they said another batch of snow is coming, from Sealy, then another from Corpus Christi.
UrbaNerd
W00T! We have about .5" of snow on the ground down here in Mo City, and there is more coming (according to a look at the radar, and no, I am not talking about channel2). This will be great in the morning, if it does not melt! A white Christmas!!!
Subdude
Here is just melting when it hits the ground. Bah! Oh well, still cool to see snow!
