ChannelTwoNews
Looking across Downtown Portland... The namesake for the "Time and Temperature Building" Looking toward Monument Square from One City Center Messy street between Monument Square & OCC South side of Monument Square Soldiers and Sailors Monument (Our Lady of Victories Monument)'s snow covered side from the south... And the "cleaner" side from the west Down Preble Street (I can see my apartment from here!) Our ABC affiliate, WMTW-TV doing a liveshot outside their studios. This happens every storm. Looking up the oh-so narrow Congress Street Intersection of High, Congress & Free Streets at Congress Square Heading up US Route 1 to Yarmouth for some groceries... Though the on-ramps here were terrible, I made it back in one piece! Edited April 5, 2007 by ChannelTwoNews
Vertigo58
Really nice! Can't wait to see photos of the summer cottages along the coast. Please send some like where "Bruce the shark" visited during summer season. I like those quaint little villages like Cape Cod. Lobster stew, mmmmmm. I actually lived in one of the Beach houses along Ferry Beach in Saco during the off-season about a year ago. I have to say, it's nice to have an entire street (of 4 houses) with yours being the only one being lived in for a number of months without the swell of tourists, traffic and everything... haha. Can't say much about lobster though. Any food whose price may change on a daily basis is kinda not for me. Now, back to those photos... Overnight and Digging out Up Preble Street Cumberland Avenue, westbound Monument Square, 2" per hour rate of snowfall The task: Dig out! 3" on the roof & 6" on the trunk Getting there... Eh, clean as she'll be for a while Driving through the heart of Old Orchard Beach, looking up Old Orchard Street Back in Portland, Franklin Arterial at Marginal Way... 7 AM Around Monument Square... Overlooking the south side, toward South Portland
