Back then, the plans called for between 20 and 30 vendors in 31,000-square-feet. Since then, a number of new food halls have opened, including Bravery Chef Hall, Finn Hall, and Post Market. " https://houston.culturemap.com/news/restaurants-bars/09-14-22-lyric-market-downtown-food-hall-vendor-list/ I really like this food hall. I like that it’s not an open concept like the other ones in town instead it’s built more like a maze (horrible use of the word but I can’t come up with a better one). This is in no way a direct comparison but it reminds me of the Chelsea Market in NYC in that there’s a beginning and an end point. With that said it’s extremely small 😔. Does anyone know if they have plans to expand at a later date or is this pretty much it?

nate4l1f3
On Saturday, April 22, Lyric Market will hold a grand opening celebration from noon to 3 p.m. with live music, vendor sampling, a crawfish boil, and activities for children. It’s also an opportunity for Lyric to introduce several new concepts within its vendor portfolio. There have been changes at the food hall since it opened in the fall. Several original vendors (Alenbi Falafel + Hummus, Bad Chx, Mission Burger, and Lottie’s Smokehouse) have departed and been replaced by new concepts. Also, Hospitality HQ, a consulting group that originally managed Lyric Market, is out. BIG DIPPER: Where to find the Houston area's best chile con queso dips So what’s new at Lyric? Four new concepts have joined the lineup that includes original vendors 1929 Po-Boy Kitchen, Horu Sushi, Kati Roll Wala, Mexology, Press Waffle Co., and Rhapsody Bar. They are: Mama’s Texas Smokehouse (serving Texas barbecue sandwiches, plates, and other barbecue dishes); Francis' Café (from the same owner of Mama’s Texas Smokehouse, serving an all-day café menu of sandwiches, salads, and soups), Café JuJu (plant-based comfort foods and cold-pressed juices); and Starbucks, a new satellite location inside Press Waffle Co. “We take pride in working with up-and-coming restaurateurs at Lyric Market, and we are excited to bring these new concepts into our food hall,” said Lyric Market general manager Nick Vroulis. “In addition to our current vendor roster, These new concepts will allow both locals and visitors alike to experience the best of the Houston food scene in one visit, from Texas barbecue and vegan comfort food to Indian street food, sushi and Belgian waffles.” Saturday’s grand opening ceremony also will be the first public viewing of Lyric’s second floor terrace area, a space that can be used for private events, pop-ups, cooking classes, and other community activations. Lyric Market is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 10 am. to 9 p.m. With ample public parking, Lyric offers two-hour validated parking with a food hall purchase.
