IronTiger
A while back, there was a large coffee-table book with lots of great Houston architecture photos. But it also cost upwards of $50 and was a little dry.So I come with another suggestion...a second HAIF-branded book, except focusing on the "past stories of Houston". Someone could comb the Historic Houston forum for great stories of the past, and publish them in a book form (with photos). It would also be in a book form, but much smaller (enough to bring on a road trip). What do you say? A great idea, or a trash idea?
editor
It's not a bad idea, but it would require more time than I have. It would probably take most of a year tracking down the owners of the copyrights of the various pictures needed and getting their permission to use them.
