SpaceCity
That is insane growth! It must be the crack-coicaine they put in their coffee.
UrbaNerd
That is insane growth! It must be the crack-coicaine they put in their coffee. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That may explain the $4 a cup price!
editor
I get the Caramel Apple Cider. Coffee upsets my stomach. It's good, and it's cheap. The largest size costs something like $2.75.
Montrose1100
If you visit the Starbucks at the Barnes and Nobles in the Woodlands... Don't buy the cheese cake. it will cost you 6 bucks for a slice thats an inch thick, and thats the thickest PART! It may just be because its from the Cheese Cake Factory, or Starbucks' high prices... or both...
Subdude
I end up going like everyone else, but Starbucks is kind of annoying at times. They're so self-consciously trying to be cool, and the fake Italian thing is kind of dumb. Thousands of "baristas" all across the world, all saying "Would you like a fresh pastry with that today?" OK, end of venting. I feel better now. Just had to get it off my chest.
midtown_resident
you guys vent all you want...starbucks coffee rocks. i love the coffee, the hotspot internet access where i browse HAIF...the pastries and extras i can do without. i'm not one for the super candy drinks (i.e. mocha fraps and lattes)...rather, I enjoy a tall coffee of the day...a great cup of coffee for $1.35... dbigtex56
Here's a slightly off-topic rant:Just because you got a job at at a snobbier fast-food (coffee) outlet than Burger Boi, doesn't entitle you to a tip jar. When you give service at a table, you're entitled to a tip. When I have to place my order AT A COUNTER, you are a counter service person. I tip for service, not attitude.

ricco67
I'm not much for tipping at a counter, unless I'm going to Amy's, or a place I frequent where they know me by sight and have my meal ready before I even say, "good morning."
