ChannelTwoNews
They finished it around the beginning of 2008.The building had trouble leasing as a commercial building, and became a professional office building. Since the hospital closed, I'm not sure were it stands. The rest of the rendering essentially looks like putting a glass facade on the existing office tower and part of the existing garage. Like Kinkaid said, that version has been around for a while. Edited April 29, 2009 by ChannelTwoNews
plumber2
Isn't one of these original buildings, the tall one, one that was used as a video project billboard for awhile? It was on the the west facade, so you only saw it traveling inbound.
Highrise Tower
New signage went up! Performance Pain & Sports Medicine. At least I think it's new Photos taken Sunday, August 28, 2016.
Naviguessor
Noticed that sign, yesterday, too for the first time. It's brand new. Looks as high as the cheaper crane would reach.
Highrise Tower
After 22 years in 2 Greenway Plaza, T-Mobile US Inc. (Nasdaq: TMUS) has signed on to be the anchor tenant for a 17-story tower about a mile away. The Bellevue, Washington-based wireless company inked a long-term, 29,142-square-foot lease at 4126 Southwest Freeway, according to a press release from Toronto-based Avison Young. T-Mobile will occupy three-and-a-half floors of the building, which will change its name from River Oaks Tower to T-Mobile Tower. https://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2018/07/10/greenway-plaza-area-building-to-be-renamed-t.html Edited July 25, 2018 by ekdrm2d1
Highrise Tower
River Oaks signage has been removed. T-Mobile replacement doesn’t look good.

intencity77
The signage size looks appropriate for the blank space given. I’ve noticed that signage is often way to oversized in Houston compared to other cities. Maybe that’s why some are seeing this as being “too small” or not to scale.

Its more along the lines of design proportions. It looks....off. Its about a couple font sizes too small. The fact that its in the middle makes it more off putting. I think a better approach would have been to simply use there "T" logo, make it a bit bigger and push it the left end or right end of the building.
Highrise Tower
Actually, I'm liking the illumination at night. The pink T-Mobile logo with the blue building light looks fantastic.
Highrise Tower
I've passed by this building a thousand times and never got a photograph of the side. Picture I took:
