LTAWACS
I think there is Fogo de Chaos or something like that. Then there is one on westheimer and shephard... in some strip mall.
Subdude
The one you're thinking of on Westheimer at Shepherd is Churassco. It's not supposed to be terribly authentic, however.

That's the one. I've never been and now that you say it's not that authentic, I won't go there.
Houston19514
Perhaps Churrascos is not "authentic" Brazilian because it does not even purport to be a Brazilian restaurant.
LTAWACS
Perhaps. South American food right? I dont know I've never been there. Don't shoot the messenger!

Lowbrow
A Churrascaria is a Brazilian style steak house. We have Fogo de Chao on Westheimer near Fondren.Churrascos is just south american style cuisine.
Dobiestud
BAS, the Brazilian restaurant u're referring to is called Emporio. Its got a really nice laid back design, usually a guitarist there on weekends, and great food for awsome prices. I looove to eat out, and this place is definately a favorite because of the really amiable setting, good food, good portions, nice veriety, and it surprises me every time how reasonably priced it is.Anyone who hasn't tried it definately should. TJones
Yep. That's the one. I've never been and now that you say it's not that authentic, I won't go there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you want authentic, go to Fogo on Westheimer. Make sure you bring your Stomach and your Wallet, and a wheel barrow, you'll need all three. The wheel barrow is to roll you out to your car after you have stuffed your face, and I assure you, they'll make sure you do just that.
