Fringe
That's great. Maybe they will start passing out fortune cookies during his sermons.

dbigtex56
Wasn't it Joel Olsteen who said "You long to see the Great Pyramids"?

IronTiger
What's really funny is that Joel Osteen is so unrepresentative of Christianity. His sermons are basically this feel-good stuff devoid of the Christian Gospel, making him an acceptable target for everybody!
ricco67
What's really funny is that Joel Osteen is so unrepresentative of Christianity. His sermons are basically this feel-good stuff devoid of the Christian Gospel, making him an acceptable target for everybody! Agreed. Overall, as a apathetic Catholic, I'd buy his message if he'd put his sermons into some context with the bible. Perhaps its our society who has a tendency to only want "good news" and positive reinforcement that is eating up his message as a whole. dbigtex56
Perhaps we could attend one of his sermons, and after each of his fortune-cookie statements everyone could shout, "IN BED!" instead of "Amen!"“You have something to offer that nobody else can give!” "IN BED!"“To affirm is to make firm.”"IN BED!"
