hindesky
I talked with the TAS site superintendent who said he will be moving to the 701 Richmond project in September. He too said they have more projects lined up in the next few months.

toxtethogrady
HBJ Balcor Commercial starts phase two of Museum District mixed-use development
Houston19514
Do I understand this correctly? Did the HBJ really just tell us that the developer has decided to go ahead and break ground on this new development (the construction of which topped out almost two months ago)???
toxtethogrady
Balcor may not have announced it until just now. Fairmont Museum District III renders have still never been seen... ChannelTwoNews
The Chronicle's bit on this project in a roundup of several developments is much more coherent. At least it didn't make it sound like construction had just started. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/real-estate/article/balcor-retail-medical-office-museum-district-17743882.php#photo-23406420

X.R.
Since the end of last year, this one has seen some serious man-hours given how often I see people out there working and the growth of the building. I have a feeling if there are strong leases that come out of this development, especially with the stability of the leases from the first development, I'm not sure we'll have to wait as long as we did between development 1 and 2 for new retail to pop up in the area. j_cuevas713
My only issue with the first development is the pedestrian realm. I think it needs to be reworked because I'm personally starting to see more and more people walk inside the loop.
