midtown_resident
Recently we heard about a couple purchasing a condo near Lake Conroe at the 30k price point. In disbelief that such properties might be available, i researched on HAR...to find virtually nothing in that range. My thought was perhaps these condos don't get listed with real estate agents because of the price point...i.e. maybe there are alternative advertising sources that are cheaper routes to selling?any thoughts on this? kjb434
Condo may be being used in its techincal term versus what we normally think of it.A condo is a property in which you wholey own a piece of the property but you share in maintenance expenses for upkeep of the property. This place could be a just several small summer homes made for just going out to the lake. Not something extremely fancy. Mostly a constructed building on a campsite. The residents all pay a maintenance fee to upkeep the grounds since they may not be there all the time. This is my thought. bachanon
there are hundreds of old condo units in walden. one that is 30K would be an efficiency or a one bedroom and not on the lake. in fact, it might be in disrepair.
