hindesky
Observed a truck unloading sheetrock that was new to me. The load had 2 types of sheetrock, small long corner pieces and wall sheets. After the guys took of the small pieces the crane pivoted the load so the workers could take the large pieces off. I thought that was cool.
dbigtex56
I wonder what material will be used for siding the top storey. It's impossible to tell from the rendering.

editor
I seem to recall that years ago, the building next door was supposed to be affordable housing for veterans. Is that still the case?

hindesky
"Harris County and Houston held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Midtown Thursday morning for Light Rail Lofts. It is the first joint project by county and city that involves such a conversion, said Rene Martinez of the Harris County Community Services Department. The 56-unit building at 4600 Main St., 29 units will be homes for formerly homeless veterans, who will be connected with social workers and supportive services." https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/housing/article/midtown-office-affordable-17351577.php#photo-22771691
