ChannelTwoNews
http://www.bisnow.com/commercial-real-estate/houston/2055-another-full-city-centre-tower/ Â Â Â On Eldridge, work is chugging along on Trammel Crow's Energy Center. Building III will be 100% occupied by ConocoPhillips next May, and the company will move into Energy Center IV by the end of 2015. Next up: Energy Center V will break ground in the next 30 days. Together, the three buildings will add almost 1.7M SF of office space to the Energy Corridor. Â Â Â
Urbannizer
Trammell Crow Co. has started the fifth and final building in its Energy Center development, an upscale campus-style office complex in the fast-moving Energy Corridor office market. The new building, just south of Interstate 10 on North Eldridge Parkway, represents the latest in suburban office design, the company said. "The bar has been raised," said managing director Aaron Thielhorn. As companies increasingly use real estate as a recruitment and retention tool, developers are building nicer properties as they compete for tenants. "Now we're seeing more amenities, more glass, landscaping, higher ceilings, a more high-end feeling campus," Thielhorn said. The new building will have 524,397 square feet in 18 stories with a glass facade atop a limestone base. Above a two-story lobby, the offices will have floor-to-ceiling glass. The lower three floors of the Kirksey-designed tower will have 18-foot floor heights to accommodate such amenities as a dining facility, conference rooms and fitness center. http://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/columnists/sarnoff/article/Energy-Corridor-office-space-to-have-upscale-5660838.php

J Money
Looked at this and said "There we go, that's a nice building". Hopefully the Energy Corridor will be getting more attractive buildings.
Marcus Allen
I like it better when a developer creates several SIMILAR buildings in a grouping like this project and those around Memorial City instead of creating exact duplicates, like those across the fwy.
