Triton
Driving over the Waugh bridge towards this thing, it is surprisingly small compared to the other buildings in the area. I'll try to take a picture next time I'm biking there to show what I'm talking about.

Avossos
^^ this is a pretty great picture. I usually don't see this perspective of downtown. I really like it!
Montrose1100
Downtown Houston from Uptown Park by Baldheretic on Flickr Great view! I finally figured out what the giant beige square was to the bottom left of 1400 Smith. (HPD). If I had to guess it was taken from the North Cameron building on 610. infinite_jim
Downtown Houston from Uptown Park by Baldheretic on Flickr This will be a good perspective to see 1111 Travis under construction.
cloud713
Crazy how it seems to blend into the downtown skyline as if they were all next to each other. I'd like to see similar style shots from southern uptown with greenway and 2929 blended into the downtown skyline.
Luminare
Now that this one is almost finished. Has anyone gotten any word about the progress of Phase 2? or anything else to be built for Regent Square. I know that everything is still piecing itself back together because of the last recession, but I'm sure we should be seeing some progress on other parts of this area soon. UtterlyUrban
http://www.khou.com/news/local/Construction-could-force-Montrose-area-restaurant-to-shut-down-262257111.htmlI hope she wins.If a developer wants to build a building so that he can make a profit, he should not be able to externalize some of the costs. In this case, he has closed a road and created a very real cost for the business owners, employees, and residents nearby. Should not be allowed. Close the road? Sure! But Pay the lost profits and wages of others and make a little less on your project.
