Sweet,. @texan! Thanks for the update. According to the East River website's map of The Laura, Laffa and SLT are located on the ground floor. More on the two latest tenants joining to East River's roster, per the development's social media: Laffa is a popular fast-casual Middle Eastern concept that will open its first location at East River in early 2025. The restaurant will be located near CoolxDad and will serve baked savory pastries, breakfast dishes, sandwiches and dessert! SLT is a luxury hair extension brand set to open its first storefront at East River later this year! They will be located next to Tomi and is known for their renowned high density hair extensions and products. The new location will invite clients to indulge in a hair experience where luxury meets personalization. https://www.instagram.com/p/DA9ON4vJ4_z/ Additionally, Midway distributed a press release last week regarding Laffa, SLT, and other tenants. hindesky
Developer Midway announced that repairs of the ground collapse in several sections of the Buffalo Bayou trail near its mixed-use development will be completed by early next year. The partial collapse occurred in August near The Laura, an apartment complex recently opened in East River. A section of the bulkhead designed to support the ground pulled away, causing parts of the trail to collapse. https://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/buffalo-bayou-trail-collapse-19831481.php

hindesky
Saw the yellow crane boom from a distance, it's building the PHA building which will be a steel structure. Company doing the steel erection is the Postel Group who is also building the steel structure of Sarofim Hall at Rice University. https://www.postelgroup.com Engineering is being done by Telios. https://teliospc.com/projects/east-river/ Harvey is the GC - https://www.harveycleary.com Parking lot for the Harvey workers, also the construction trailers and the mock up under construction. There are tall high voltage electrical lines behind the crane so the steel has to be brought under them by an extended boom forklift.
