SkylineView
Well at least, I think it's a natural gas station (for filling up your car... on natural gas). Built at the intersection of McCue and Guilford. Photo below. Kind of cool. Kind of a goofy spot, though I know that's where their office space is. http://i1241.photobucket.com/albums/gg515/SkylineView/ApacheGas_zps5072899d.jpg

TGM
Back in the late 1980's the Chevron station that was at Richmond @ Sage offered CNG. I think it was a matter of "too soon" as it was eventually removed from that station.
houstontiger
Given its proximity to their HQ, my guess is that it's for Apache employees. Southwestern Energy did something similar recently by raffling off several CNG cars to employees, I wonder if Apache is doing the same? Edit: Bingo http://www.apachecorp.com/News/Articles/View_Article.aspx?Article.ItemID=2905 Edited February 4, 2013 by houstontiger

pookrat
Aquiring a permit for a CNG Station in Houston is a giant pain. Probablly helps when you donate one to the city as well. SWN gave home refueling appliances to their CNG Truck winners. I would guess that they will have a station of their own when they move to their new Headquarters though.
