IronTiger
With the 290 redevelopment in full swing, there's schematics (online-linked, so they go slow) that not only show the expanded highway but all the buildings along it (that are likely to be removed). It's been immensely helpful in research--there had to be something like this for the Interstate 10 Katy Freeway expansion, are there any (left) online? Does anyone have copies? I mean, I could go on an archive.org binge, but that would be time-consuming and unknown if it would yield good results...
JLWM8609
Your best bet would be to use the archive.org website to see what you can find for www.katyfreeway.org. After the projected was completed, the domain was put up for sale and everything was removed.
MaxConcrete
I have a PDF schematic of the entire corridor dated June 19, 2003. The file name suggests it was released as part of the EIS reevaluation. I'm assuming you want this to determine displacements (reference separate thread). I also have screenshots of the actual construction plans but they do not show properties affected. I could put the PDF file on a web server for download if you really need it. IronTiger
Thanks! It even answers displacement questions...Dixie's Roadhouse was the mystery restaurant that bothered me so much.
