sifuwong
i noticed some of the night shots were taken from above...do they let people in the buildings or something at night? some of the shots were taken at least 10-15 stories high. In a few spots, we were on the upper levels of parking garages. In one case we were on a rooftop, with an escort from the building.
asubrt
Great photos! The ones of BG Group Place and the Magnolia are truly beautiful.
mlyoung83
The one in front of downtown for the skyline shot was done along the bayou trails near the highway. You have to do some climbing to get up there, but it's a great shot. Everything else like concord said were from tops of garages and buildings when we could get up there. I am also working on a photo guide/database of garages in downtown with example shots from each location. Will probably be a few more months before finished. mlyoung83
I didn't even realize it, but all those shots were at ISO 800 too. Apparently I went to adjust my aperture at the first garage, but missed it and didn't even realize it till I got home!

mlyoung83
We park at a central parking lot in the middle of downtown. From there we either walk, or we all jump in the biggest car someone has and all chip in for fees at garages.
