shasta
They purchased one of the nicest looking developments in all of Houston and in a great location. I would really like to see a building like this downtown..but even taller. I envision high rises replacing the shopping centers on Kirby...one by one. j_cuevas713
I'm excited to see what they are going to do. Coming from a city like SF, they def have a good idea on enhancing a pedestrian environment.
J.A.
I've always thought they should change the circular area facing Kirby into a pedestrian courtyard with landscaping that restaurants can open out onto, etc. No cars driving through there at all. They put a lot of effort into making an architectural statement with this outdoor space, but then what's it programmed for? ...Drive thru/valet drop off... IntheKnowHouston
A new dining tenant is coming soon to the Shops at Arrive Upper Kirby (formerly known as the Kirby Collection). According to What Now Houston, à restaurant and nightclub/lounge named Se7en is leasing a unit within the retail portion of the development. Se7en's estimated opening is this fall, possibly late October or November, at 3300 Kirby Dr, Ste B. A few details from the article: "An upscale supper club is in the works for the heart of River Oaks in Houston. Se7en, pronounced Seven, will offer a high-end, glamorous ambiance with Asian-inspired cuisine offering French, Mediterranean flavors." https://whatnowhou.com/supper-club-to-offer-asian-influenced-french-mediterranean-cuisine/ https://7houston.com Edited July 1, 2022 by IntheKnowHouston
