And it abuts Cullen, which is tolerble north of 45, but probably the most bike-friendly street in the city south of 45, now that the reconstruction is (functionally) complete.

There's also protected bike lanes on both sides of Cullen north of 45 as well! The student housing across this development on Cullen was also made very pedestrian friendly (all parking is in the back). This part of town (specifically north of i45) is already ideal for pedestrians/ cyclist; narrower streets, smaller/older setbacks, smaller developments/lots in general. The is also becoming even more walkable/ dense/ bike-able. Cullen was cut down to 2 lanes to include bike lanes (from 4), Scott is only 4 lanes with a rail running in between, Leeland was cut down to 2 lanes to include bike lanes (from 4). Let's hope rest of the development somehow makes up for this.

They're just a little debris-ridden. But solid width. They feel safe.

IntheKnowHouston
Mods @Triton @Urbannizer maybe the topic for the 4001 Gulf Freeway property should be merged with this one? Coog's Crossing will occupy the 4001 Gulf Fwy parcel that includes 3895 Gulf Fwy and 4001 Gulf Fwy. It's the former site of Finger Furniture. https://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/29807-finger-furniture-at-4001-gulf-fwy/ Parcel map with the 4001 Gulf Freeway parcel outlined in blue The Coog's Crossing site plan previously posted

Triton
I realize people are disappointed with this development but like, next to a college full of poor college students (I was one of them, go coogs!), what are people expecting here? Were we wanting a city center type place full of luxury stores? Idk, I get that it's car centric but it seems to be in line with what I expected for this area.
shasta
Coogs Crossing? What does this have to do with the University of Houston? Looks like a generic strip center to me
JBTX
I figure it's just location branding.
