jgriff
I've heard that the 3000 Post Oak and 3040 Post Oak buildings will be for sale also. This will all take place when the garage you can see under construction directly to the South of the site that's for sale is completed.

I just noticed that garage under construction and now your post. Obviously they're building the garage so they can tear down the one they're marketing and build another tower, no? There was once a sign on Hidalgo w/ a rendering showing a redeveloped Lakes on Post Oak w/ retail. Looks like this fits in with that plan.
SkylineView
It is an amazingly large garage... looks like it could support another large tower.
jgriff
It is an amazingly large garage... looks like it could support another large tower. The garage is for Bechtel tower. I worked there until recently. We heard that it is actually still undersized for the building.

LarryDierker
Site work going on when I passed by today. Surface parking was gone. Dirt being pushed around by bulldozers. Couldn't stop to take in the detail, but the site seemed busy.

swtsig
don't have a lot of details but the site was parceled off after it was sold - mf, possible hotel/condo, a couple of retail sites... perhaps office. can't remember for certain except the m/f and retail.
Urbannizer
http://blog.chron.com/primeproperty/2015/04/apartments-developer-buys-galleria-area-land/ Apartment developer Trammell Crow Residential has acquired nearly four acres within the Lakes at Post Oak office complex. HNathoo
I'm a little shocked that they aren't going for more density on this site. That's a prime piece of dirt.

kdog08
I agree, good looking developing. This part of southern Uptown has really added some nice developments lately.
j_cuevas713
Man I always wonder what Houston would be like if we had all of those buildings in the Galleria in Downtown. Our skyline would be awesome! BUT I think Houston is unique in how it's laid out. I love how Uptown is developing. I'm excited for the dedicated bus lanes.
