dthunter
I am new to this forum. I recently found out about a new loft development called Live Oak Lofts, located east of hwy 59 off of Polk. Has anyone seen or heard anything about them? I am not even sure if the renovations are finished. They seem relatively affordable, but this could be because of the east side location. From the photos they seem like this will be a pretty nice place!

That area is sometimes called the Warehouse District (it's former incarnation) and is in the process of being reborn as a medium density residential zone. As with all transitional areas, the earlier you get in, the less you pay, and the longer you'll have to wait for amenities.
jt16
Actually, you can get a lot more townhome for those prices. The $/sq. foot seem really high to me to buying into a transitional area.

It is a great building with lots of potential but I think the current market is telling them the price is just too high.
