jmitch94
I'm starting to come around on it too. I think it had the opportunity to be spectacular if they had stuck with the original deign.
SkylineView
Nobody here has posted the BANGING blue lights on this thing yet. Side note: what's up with this site... I can't link any content anymore.
Highrise Tower
Here's the lighting. It's blue, but my iPhone 6S couldn't capture it the best. Best photo of the bunch? Out of focus, but it captured the true color. Amegy Bank's parking lot
CaptainJilliams
Awesome shots! Love the LEDs. Similar to The Post Oak, even though it's a small feature, it gives the building some pop.

Highrise Tower
Reminds me of both the Dallas CBD bldg that glows green and the 59 bridge lighting. RD did a great job with this lighting detail. Stands out for sure.. like the Uptown W hotel that never happened
kennyc05
The lights on 59 are jacked up!
Moderators
Randall Davis for all the grief he gets on this thread, nice to see some positive praise for Arabella's innovative lighting scheme. Which is impressive.
thatguysly
This project, even though the better design was changed, is turning out great. Nice lighting, unique style, and the back side of the ugly podium will be blocked from view. Easily my favorite RD project.
HoustonBoy
I’m a big fan of this tower, even after losing the all glass design, but I think painting it a darker grey/blue to better match the glass would be a smart move on RD’s part. SkylineView
New lighting... and it pops! Photo doesn't do it justice. http://s1241.photobucket.com/user/SkylineView/media/image1_zpszkzmwigv.jpeg.html I can't get content to post properly on the site... if you can pull this out of purgatory and into the thread, please do. Highrise Tower
Did anybody else notice the top floor is a different shade of glass? Could have been the weather?

Probably the most logical explanation knowing RD is that they ran out of glass when they got to the top floor and so had to order more, but couldn't get the same shade and were too unprofessional to care. Reporter
Thats right. And they probably don't even realize that most of the floors don't line up properly either. Some stick out, some retract. WTF is wrong with RD anyway?!?!

Tumbleweed_Tx
my muse A***** took a picture of Arabella tonight from the memorial park area. It has blue and green LED lighting.... I was actually impressed with RD's work on this one and for the record, the mural inside of Marlowe doesn't suck- it's better than that cartoon of Lightinin that is across the street... lol
