Second shows 4 possible buildings, 3 in front of Home Depot and another next to the SheSpace which would mean buying part of the Outfront property. The second pic shows the first and second floors of the building that houses SheSpace and the first and second floors of the building at the southern end of Home Depot; it is not showing an additional 2 buildings. Texasota
If you look closely you can see the dotted lines connecting the second floors to their respective first floors.

hindesky
The Houston Chronicle posted a story about this, I guess Gulf Coast Commercial did a press release cause all the local news outlets have posted stories about it. https://gulfcoastcg.com Construction has started on a new Home Depot store and additional retail buildings in a growing mixed-use project just south of The Heights near the Washington Corridor in Houston. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/real-estate/article/Home-Depot-new-retail-coming-to-mixed-use-center-16785050.php#photo-21929339 Â

JBTX
Do you think people working on a Home Depot hear the incredibly hype "Home Depot Theme" in their head as they work? I would.
hindesky
More back wall going up. Notice the tire booties on all the extended boom forklifts so they don't scar the new floor with tire marks. Â

TrainTrak
Not sure if this has been posted already, but noticed these signs on the second floor of the existing retail building. Appears to be a Houston outpost of an Austin barbershop https://scissorsscotch.com/home
mkultra25
"Scissors & Scotch" sounds like a personal-injury attorney's dream business. Reminds me of a friend who used to sign off his posts online with "running with scissors down the hallway of life". 3

Avossos
Seems to be a combination of metal and masonry for this Home Depot... I haven't seen that before... From the renderings, I was expecting Stucco, but perhaps this is more fitting with the area? Â I am very curious how this will turn out. I am one of the minority that is very excited to have a home-depot so close.
j_cuevas713
I drove by this Sunday off I-10 and I will say that it does look reasonably dense and the parking lot isn't as big as I assumed it would be. I'll prob end up retracting previous comments on this once it's finished lol

hindesky
Loading dock area. Front area, probably contractor loading area. Back of the 2 story building. Single story building looks ready to go, they moved the fencing back to allow parking. Garden center. Front entrance.

hindesky
I wish they would widen the sidewalk on the north side of this next to the feeder road. It's usually a wet and muddy mess and very narrow guessing 3' wide.
