IntheKnowHouston
A plan review permit was submitted yesterday for one of the ground floor units at Texas Tower. According to the permit, it's for a cafe / restaurant. The name of the permit is Carousel. I don't know if that will be the restaurant's moniker or not. Carousel will be located at 845 Texas Ave, Suite 100. It's occupying the unit previously leased to Cafe Sophie, a dining concept from Chicago restaurant group What If Syndicate. 2

According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing, Carousel is going to be a coffee shop by day and a bar at night. Cisneros Design Studio is the architect of record. Carousel joins Dune Road at Texas Tower, another dining concept from Berg Hospitality Group. Word is Berg Hospitality Group has plans for a concept named The Sylvie.
