RedScare
"There are also some major offerings planned for the future. The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council announced plans to bring an international juried art show to The Woodlands May 20-21, 2006. Set against the backdrop of the waterway, the show will feature 200 artists in every category of art, including paintings, sculpture, woodworking, crafts, furniture, graphic arts, metal and leather. It is being produced by the Art Colony, which is responsible for the Bayou City Arts Festival, ranked one of the top in the nation."Sure hope those artists know that there's no nekkidness allowed, or else that christian woman from Shenandoah will protest to commissioner's court. If you're gonna bring that David statue in, you better put a fig leaf or somethin on him.

RedScare
I don't know. I would think one of the world's greatest sculptures, and especially a sculpture of one of the heroes of the Bible, would be admired and revered in a community like the Woodlands.Besides, it's not like he has a woody or something. Here's a photo. Don't look if nudity or works of art offend you.http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...6lr%3D%26sa%3DN

MidtownCoog
Music - OK. Arts - OK. But don't even THINK about reading books. Books are the devil!
TJones
Music - OK. Arts - OK. But don't even THINK about reading books. Books are the devil! No No, it's not the books, it's the authors, Heathens! Didn't some "holier than thou" group from the Woodlands have the A Strip Mall up there take down some Italian inspired sculptures, calling them "offensive, indecent and lude."
