JLWM8609
That was an informative video. That's the most information I've ever heard on the subject of Frost Town.
isuredid
Very well made video and the most factual of any record I have seen on Frost Town. I was happy to see that the video dispelled some old mythsMyth 1. Frost Town was originally settled by GermansMyth 2. Frost Town was also known as GermantownGermantown was the northeast 1/4 league of the John Austin survey just above Houston. Germantown, like Frost Town, was not originally settled by Germans despite the name. Edited September 10, 2009 by isuredid

IronTiger
Hasn't Frost Town been completely obliterated by US-59? Where did they put the marker?
sinister1
Yes Iron Tiger Frost Town has been obliterated but this second marker will be placed somewhere under 59. It was originally supposed to be off of Runnels St. but the City of Houston wants to extend the city bike trail through there. (As if anyone is foolish enough go down there LOL).
