As long as they don't install any permanent structures, there shouldn't be any restrictions. How do you make a patio without any permanent structures? Flower pots and mobile stansions? Their current patio is picnic tables with umbrellas. I would guess something similar.
Popular Post bobruss
Ate dinner at Street To Kitchen last night and thought it was outstanding. I like the interiors of the restaurant. Very clean and simple but fresh. The food was delicious! Noticed the work being done on the sidewalk and wasn't sure what they were doing. That will be a nice addition. That whole area has changed so much with the residential on Harrisburg, the Plant and the other improvements thanks to the rail. I think this is a prime example that rail does help in development. You can't tell me that Harrisburg would have come so far without it.

You can't tell me that Harrisburg would have come so far without it. it's purely coincidental. correlation doesn't mean causation. /s I will say though, there are less expensive places to get Thai street food. and every time I eat Thai I am haunted by the memory of Kanomwan. that was some tasty Thai. Sounds like that might be Neighbors (fomerly How to Survive), which definitely needs a sidewalk/pedestrian realm upgrade.
JBTX
I know this isn't the same Harrisburg address, but I don't recall if the Pita Pal thread got merged in with this one. This is the old Pita Pal Plant.
ljchou
@JBTX the larger development lives in the thread below:

IntheKnowHouston
Earlier this week, Concept Neighborhood shared a progress photo of the patio at The Plant, which is located at 3401 Harrisburg Blvd. The Plant is part of Concept Neighborhood's multi-block development named The Plant / Second Ward. Instagram caption: As we're sure many of you have seen, the new patio build out at 3401 Harrisburg is almost complete! When ground was broken on this project it was done so with the intention of creating a safe public gathering space at the "entrance" of the Second Ward (the Metro light rail stop "The Plant / Second Ward") while also creating better pedestrian safety via removing the street side parking that often posed as both a hazard to those on foot and the train infrastructure located right behind it. As the patio comes to life this fall we want to know what YOU would like to see happen in this space! Markets? Music? Bike nights? Kid friendly events? What ever you're into come let us know (09/30) on the patio at @neighborshtx from 5-6pm. https://www.instagram.com/p/DAgttmepwzC/ 3
Thunderhtx
There was a vintage store called Whitt n Wingo that had just opened up, seems like it has closed down.
