Tried looking up this company based on their logo in your pic thinking it might be a company HEB will use to build this out. Turns out the sign is used for baseball pitchers to practice with. Apparently someone is practicing on the empty lot. https://www.atecsports.com/en-us/screens/pro-pitcher-practice-screen Edited March 2, 2021 by hindesky 1

monarch
^^^ honestly, i am not aware of any HEB development that could top this prospective mixed-use UK concept design. should the city of houston and HEB proceed forward with construction of this particular design, it would catapult the UK district into the stratosphere. my goodness, this is BADass... 1

j_cuevas713
The density in this part of town is pretty awesome. Are we the only city in Texas with these urban style HEB's?

They have a nice small "market" on South Flores Street just south of the main part of Downtown. It's kind of like a small version of the Dunlavy store. For the most part, H-E-Bs in San Antonio are not that exciting... easy to be that way when you're the only game in town. MidCenturyMoldy
It's possible that tiny bit of parking is for H-E-B's curbside pickup.

Popular Post hindesky
Probably nothing but I spotted this mini excavator and a front end loader on site. Tried looking up the logo "PMC" on the mini but couldn't find anything like it. 11
hindesky
I mentioned this before - while at the Southern Land Communities Kirby project a guy walked up to me and said he heard from a friend that someone was going to build an apartment project here. Today I see the fence has been removed around the whole property. I wonder if the apartments or HEB or maybe both are going to start work? The whole block still belongs to HEB according to HCAD.

hindesky
I have a vested interest in HEB building this location, so they can take some of the customers from the Dunlavy St. location where I shop. 🤫 3 1
