adr
Renovations are underway, and have been for the past week or so. This is posted on Travis: They have completely removed the rear exterior facade and wall of the building - it is completely exposed to the elements: According to a worker on-site, they will extend the lower patio out to about where the building is on the left side of the photo. They will also add an upper patio be a mezzanine that will extend from the building. It will be a night-club.
kbates2
4 years later and they have started working on the front of the building. I wonder what the plan is for it now.
j_cuevas713
Hey at least the building is being saved. It will just continue to infuse life in to this part of downtown which continues to get busier and busier

staresatmaps
This is a 19th century building. Sad.
mollusk
It's sad that they lost a wall, but it's reassuring that they've already pulled a permit to at least fix the roof - presumably the things under it like the currently collapsed wall will also get taken care of.
