houstontexasjack
Well, it didn’t go up to 45 or 60 stories with this new batch of renders. Maybe 31 stories is a firmer number.
Fortune
Nice building. Hope it gets built. That end of Uptown needs some new development/updating. 8
ZRFkris
Might make it the tallest or second tallest building on this side of the Williams we will see how it comes out fingers crossed for this and McNair and further redevelopment of the Richmond corridor in Uptown.

I was a little skeptical too, but someone I know was bidding on work for the project recently, though the bidding process sounded kind of weird. Apparently they have financing lined up though.

Maybe this will be a larger (their largest) development?
Mark Resident
Looks like another cheesy staycation being built. This side of the Galleria can’t catch a break. Crime is really getting bad around here. I hear the Galleria Mall is getting more dangerous with each passing year. My condo building has seen more breakins lately. very sad and disappointing…

aachor
Hmmm... On March 15, 2018, the Houston Planning Commission had approved a variance for a hotel.
Skyboxdweller
Seems like a good match between use and location. It's not an A plus location that merits a five star hotel or luxury condo building. I'd rather have the tax revenue flowing from a vacant site than having it sit there empty for decades, as many other parcels in this city do.
