joanna
Hi everyone. I'm sorry if this is the wrong folder but I didn't know anywhere else to post this topic. I am currently in the process of moving to Houston, and my husband and I am moving into the Lakes on Eldridge North, west of the loop. We are also looking to start our business in houston, and found several spaces around the galleria/memorial area. I know this area is supposed to be concentrated in fashion/restaurant.... Can anyone give me an approximate figure as to how much is the normal rent for commercial spaces in the area? The area where S. Voss meets San Felipe (also...S. Voss and Westheimer) is of particular interest to me..... Also what specific region/town does it fall into? I know it's south of Hunter's Creek region.... but don't know the exact name of that town/area.... Any input would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated... THank you
Jeebus
I don't know specifics, but anyone from Houston will tell you that you're looking at one of the more expensive intersections (San Felipe @ Voss) in the whole metro area. sevfiv
yes, this area will be more expensive than most...there are a few listings at about $20 per square foot... Edited October 12, 2005 by sevfiv
KatieDidIt
yes, this area will be more expensive than most...there are a few listings at about $20 per square foot...If you can afford "GAP" size rental fees, I say go for it.
Jeebus
Try this: Commercial Property SearchInput Houston & 77057 and then leave the rest blank. This will pull up everything in that area that is listed with the site.

ProHouston
I would refer to this area as "Tanglewood," the Uptown (or Galleria area) really has an assumed west limit of Chimney Rock. This really is a very nice area. Other nice areas are Highland Village and Uptown Park.
