clutchcity94
I always figured it was an outdoor patio for Bacco next door, but I suppose it could be something else.

It may be part of Bacco but instead of wine I assume it will be beer oriented due to all the beer signs.

Luminare
Glad they are expanding this and doing a Beer garden concept. I've been wanting to try their wine, but went in once and this place was clearly not in a tolerable price range for me. Beer will certainly be a better option. hindesky
Finished my ride today by checking out the progress. One of the Bacco co-owners was there and confirmed the beer garden theme. I asked about the condos that were supposed to go up and he said the group who planned to build just didn't have the money to make it happen.
CrockpotandGravel
The food park portion of Bacco's beer garden, was going to be named The Taste Pallet Food Truck Park. The new name is Nom'trose. This is the food truck park from Bacco under construction at 3611 Montrose Blvd, Houston. CrockpotandGravel
Construction progress of Nom'strose from early September. This is the food park portion of Bacco's beer garden at 3611 Montrose Blvd, Houston. Photos aren't the best quality. The images are from a private Facebook account. CrockpotandGravel
The other night at Bacco, I asked when the food park and beer garden would open. I was told Nom'strose, the food park portion of Bacco's beer garden at 3611 Montrose Blvd, Houston, will open in November.

Luminare
Looks cool so far. However I would highly advise that they switch out the sod for crushed granite or something like that. That sod is going to get really nasty real quick. Edited November 5, 2019 by Luminare
hindesky
Hops Heads tore down the site last week, wonder what will take its place? Mio Brew has a new shop in the Bacco Grill. Same owner owns both lots and he was the owner of the never built mid rise lot. Mio Brew has a site on Stella Link and N. Braeswood which is or was also a Bacco. I wonder if this concept replaces the Bacco? His Bacco wine shop on Montrose seemed really popular before covid. https://mio-brew-coffee-houston.business.site
hindesky
A company called "Montrose and Marshall LLC" owns 2/3 of the whole block from the alley way west to Montrose Blvd. Could we get another well funded developer to build another high rise? When they first set up the Hop Heads I just happened to talk to one of the owners and he is the one who said the defunct mid rise developer just didn't have the funding to proceed.

Popular Post CREguy13
Can you say 30 floors with ground floor retail.... Hopefully they can get this financed soon with all the economic activity starting to occur in Houston and the high demand for living in this area. Hope the design fits the neighborhood obviously, but wow does Montrose continue to blow up with great height, density and quality of businesses, restaurants. https://verosade.com/projects/

hindesky
Someone pointed out to me that this can happen in the Audubon Place Historical Neighborhood because it is just out of the boundary map at the alley.
