Popular Post hindesky
The two recent buildings they built are both LEED Platinum, the Capital Tower/Bank of America and 1550 On The Green and plan to do the same with this project. Shawn Murphy also mentioned that they are self funded. 1 year of planning, 2-3 years for construction. Fronting Westheimer with wide sidewalks all around the project. Mixed use with residential but probably no office building component as of today's market for them. He also said they tried to buy the Disco Kroger property but weren't able to acquire it. clutchcity94
Given that Skanska purchased this property almost four years ago to the date for $27M, how much do you think it would hypothetically trade for today? Has it gone up in value or down in value? 🤔 https://group.skanska.com/media/press-releases-articles/246414/Skanska-invests-in-land-in-Texas%2C-USA-for-USD-27-M%2C-about-SEK-236-M Edited September 17 by clutchcity94
htownproud
I'm not sure why they would even want to develop this property at this point. I'm sure thy are making a killing on the half dozen food trucks there. And the empty parking lot really brings the whole neighborhood together. 2
