Highrise Tower
This 1974 aerial is really something else. I count 4, maybe 5 building under construction. A lot has been demolished as well. You can click the image url to zoom-in closer to get full resolution. Definitely an eye catcher!! https://i.imgur.com/8WxmB66.jpg

They got taken down a couple years ago, I think they needed maintenance that the hospital wasn't willing to spend to keep them up. 2

Highrise Tower
Skyline of Main & Holcombe. The Burger King sign really knocks the photo. Should be replaced with a 2-story, 5-star restaurant! Hugo Ortega or Chris Shepherd maybe?

Highrise Tower
Reposting this from a different thread. Today's view of the TMC Skyline from the MD Anderson Prairie. The spring Bluebonnets are blooming!

Highrise Tower
Went to the old spot this weekend. Might be the most iconic view of the TMC? Although, I do miss the twin hypodermic needles on top of the old St. Lukes building.

Renaissance1999
That's the size of other cities downtowns! It's sad to see NRG all alone along with the astrodome. There's so much potential in that surrounding area. Imagine if we had a development similar to Centennial yards in Atlanta by the Mercedes-Benz stadium. j_cuevas713
I used to live off Braeswood and I would see nurses riding their bikes along the Brays Bayou trail to get to work. There's some really nice connectivity because of the Bayou Greenways

Highrise Tower
A doctor told me today that their nice view will be ruined by the new Centennial Tower. While thinking about it, the doctor is totally right! What an amazing skyline view here. You see the immediate TMC skyline, and then the Downtown skyline in the back.
