BEES?!
SB2289 will be up for vote in November. I imagine if it passes it will be a major boon for the industry here Edited June 12, 2023 by BEES?!
aachor
It seems to me that even if they can't develop more biomedical space, this location would also be ideal for mixed-use development. It sits right off the freeway, between 288 and TMC3. Surely, something will come of it sooner rather than later.

There is so much room for development and redevelopment around this part of town, in prime location close to everything, that shouldn't just be limited to the healthcare field and adjacent industries.
IWantTransit555
I am still sad concerning @JLWM8609's point a while back about the lost potential for a future commuter rail line.
Popular Post Highrise Tower
I really do like Building 1. Looks very nice!! I must admit the fresh green screen across the property looks good. I'm glad they removed the old fence and replaced with fresh material. The site looks a lot better!

Texasota
Why make that one street so wide? It's such a waste of space.

BEES?!
Wow, those skyline views really are something! I see Downtown, Med Center, and maybe Upper Kirby, or Greenway? I’m assuming they’ll have west-facing spaces with Galleria views too.

Popular Post Highrise Tower
@Sgrt Clober You were not joking about the lovely walking trails. I stopped by the site today after postponing for several weeks. wow!! wow!! There is now an intersection of Holcombe Blvd at Levit Green Blvd! The Levit Green Blvd sign has the old fashioned Texas Medical Center top portion with the medical insignia. Just amazing!! Very cool "mini parks" or whatever they will be called. I hope to see the rest of the buildings go as planned. This will be a mini life science city in 10 years. Love your photo at night, by the way. For what it's worth, I discovered something new today. Apparently, Levit Green Building 1 is located on a street called Greensboro Drive, with an address of 2505 Greensboro Dr. I would have had thought the building would have a Levit Green Blvd address. Interesting!

Popular Post Highrise Tower
Levit Green Phase 2 was announced yesterday at the Bayou City Bio Pulse event. Highrise Tower
With the completion of Building 1, a new marketing brochure was created. The property flyer looks great! I wonder why they didn't include Phase 2 in the new marketing flyer? I guess they didn't know yet and HAIF was first to break the news. https://property.jll.com/listings/levit-green-3131-holcombe-blvd-not-tracked-texas 7
Popular Post Highrise Tower
Trailers are back on site!! Would this mean Levit Green Phase 2 is scheduled to start soon? I wasn't expecting this. Took a walk around Building 1. After parking in the garage, walking towards Building 1, there are man trap doors. I haven''t seen that much security in a while. I remember Koch doing a remodel at 20 Greenway that featured the man trap doors.
