Hyatt, based in Chicago, is one of the largest hotel companies in the world with 1,350 hotels in 78 countries. Bunkhouse is currently building the 71-room Hotel St. Augustine, a $57 million project near the Menil Collection museum, just west of Montrose Boulevard. The St. Augustine, designed by Lake Flato architects of San Antonio, will have a chef-driven restaurant called Bistro Perseid. In The Heights, Bunkhouse is building the 47-room Hotel Daphne at 347 W 20th Street. The Daphne is slated to open in 2025. hindesky Posted October 12 Share Posted October 12 I got a haircut at Henry's Barber Shop this week and the barber said one of his customers said the hotel wouldn't be ready for the original scheduled dates and will be set back till a December open. Tried to check in on the original dates and that date wasn't available, was able to book a Dec. 6th date though.
